Campaign ‘Bring the Moustache Back’ starts today

The official ‘Bring Back the Moustache’ will be launched today and has support from BDKAS, MADINI, Legends, The Belgian Elite, Crescent Stars and a large number of other clans (impossible to count all incoming support mails). The polls show convincingly that all readers of our blog – all twentyfive – vote in favour of the ‘moustache’.

Some of the clans have decided to join us in the fight for the ‘moustache’: we are therefore proud to say that the two oldest – and best – clans in powersoccerland, BDKAS and MADINI, have joined forces in this fierce battle. It is the first time in powersoccerhistory that these clans do not attack each other but work in close collaboration: that’s how important the moustache of Airfix_9 for us all is! Competitive, always outsmarting and outplaying each other, clan members forget their own quarrels and join forces for this cause!
And there is more! Powdersnow informed me that he spreaded fake moustaches this morning on the powersoccer workfloor. Apparently all colleagues of our dearest community manager were so overwhelmed by powdersnow his plea that they pasted the fake moustache between lip and nose. A crew member even suggested to postpone all bug fixing until there was proof Airfix_9 his moustache, by a crew member (not without understatement) described as “the reason why we do it all”, was back in business.
And there is even more! Our Head Master Assistant Hogweed, who nearly fainted when he heard the news, requested from crew a two minute silence from 4:00 pm till 4:02pm on Monday. In that period, all games should freeze or not start at all.

Sadness was great yesterday in the world of powersoccer when it became known that the most loved moustache in powersoccerland was cut off. Although it happened in a sneaky way a couple of months ago, the team card was not altered not to spoil everyone’s illusions. All people I spoke yesterday were horrified that airfix_9 shaved his – and our – pride. Some of them wept, others simply wrote ‘brb’ but were never seen again. They all long for the moments where the moustache had a central position in their idea of Airfix_9. The smiling Airfix_9, conquering the North Pole, and his proud moustache! Could he ever have conquered the North Pole without it? All gone now… nothing left there.

Let’s not give up our hopes! Let’s fight for the Moustache back! Let’s all show Airfix_9 he made a terrible mistake shaving it off! Bad omen are to be found everywhere! Since he shaved it off, Fulham – his favourite football club – does nothing bug lose. Demotion is very close! Save Fulham and grow it back! Average temperature in Great Britain was 4 ° Celsius colder than last year! Doesn’t he see the clear and unquestionable link between his moustache and the temperature drop?

Provisional Action Plan:

1) All powersoccer users should add a moustache on their personal picture

2) All powersoccer users should add moustaches (and beards) on their player’s faces! Not one player can come on the pitch without the moustache.

3) All powersoccer users should send an email to Airfix_9 asking when he will let it grow again (the email address can be found on his team page)

4) All powersoccer users should sign the petition above!

5) All official clans should support this quest

6) Make our demands public in powersoccerland!

The BMB-Board which will overview the work – made up of Sipwell (chairman and MA), Powdersnow (crew member), Hogweed (HMA), Mainmukit (MA, representative of MADINI), Biggy0003 (CA, representative of BDKAS) – will gather shortly to develop new plans in the quest for the Moustache.

* The picture on top is Tom Selleck, a famous movie-star. He was especially known for his lead in Magnum P.I. (1980-1988). In that series he was the proud owner of an Airfix_9 type of moustache. After the series he shaved it and lost his appeal. He became a plain man, not recognisable on the street… Prospect? I hope not!
