Rules don’t count for SURREAL

Clans and clan members all across the world know that you have to respond to the “Official Clans!!!” thread in order to be officially recognized as a clan. It has been a long standing rule set by a certain Powdersnow, an illustrious character in the Powersoccer world. Although there could easily be a paragraph devoted to the fact that the originator of the post is also a clan leader, we will not dwell at length on that lack of absence between official position and game position. There is something else to be noted, a breach of the PS rules that is so grave, so inexcusable that Marx Brothers – called by a crew member the “Righteous brothers” today – needs to devote some space to it.

What can be seen in the “official clans” post. We read there that:

“To be included in the list you need to have a clan home page. You should also have at least 4 members already. Reply in this thread with the name of the clan, the URL, and which members the clan has.”

As you can see, Marx Brothers did what was asked and posted a link, the members and the name of the clan. That was a long time ago (and we are still around) but nevertheless we fulfilled the initial requirement to be listed as official clan.

Yet, SURREAL does for one reason or another not have to fulfil this requirement. Nowhere on the page is it visible that Powdersnow or another clan brother announces the existence of Surreal in that thread. Nowhere can be seen that Surreal is a clan that wants to be considered as an Official Clan. Rather than announce itself to be a new clan that wants to be official, it immediately puts itself on the list of Official Clans*.

That is a severe breach of the rules set by a certain Powdersnow. We demand rectification. We demand retribution and payment of damages for this rule breaking. We have, in this matter, two demands. Firstly we want HOGWEED TO BE SET FREE. Poor Hogweed hasn’t been up to much lately: he hasn’t played a single game since he was forced into SURREAL (see below). He only enters the game early in the morning (CET) when Powdersnow is still fast asleep. Secondly we want Surreal to offer its apologies on breaking this rule. Although they are a clan with some potential, they have to follow the rules like anyone else.
