Our own Hogweed...

It is with great sadness, with an immensity of tears, with almost an impossibility to word this event, that I announce that…

I announce that… Belfue, our great friend, our Swiss Mr. Punctuality, our hard tackler and dirty player, our immensely brilliant Master Assistant, our buddy, our ‘brother’ and ‘sister’, our food (for thought), our beer, our everything… decided, following Hogweed his move from Surreal, to leave the Marx Brothers and become independent again. He said in an official statement that the Marx Brothers is the only clan he could ever be member off but that he was not participating enough in all our great struggles (he much enjoyed). I suggested that he would form together with Hogweed the “Freie Wähler”, like in Germany. This is a group of people who do not want to member of a party (or clan) and who join forces to have some representation, yet stay independent.

Even duke4, bigdaddyat and Airfix_9 tried to throw themselves at his feet (like women mostly do when their lover says he does not want to see her anymore) was unsuccessful. He faltered, stopped, looked back but then – clearly with a tear in his eye – moved forward into the absolute darkness of the night. Farewell good friend, farewell.

We wish you all the best, loads of success with all your endeavours in the game and promise us to stop by once in a while to look at your old Clan Brothers.

A goodbye needs a video. I have found this “ahum” music video of Silent Drive, the favourite band (and team name) of our beloved Belfue. In honour of him, both a video of how they really sound and how they would sound if Belfue was a Japanese with horribly little talent.

(my mother would call this "gay" music, but she is since long in a nuthouse so her opinion is null and void).
