Sipwell on fire/ Sad, sad story/ Sipwell-Airfix_9 MA

Sipwell has returned from holidays. Tanned, relaxed and full of energy he decided to take a risk and enter a friendly tournament. He was a bit unsure whether he still had the special Marx Brothers skills…especially when he saw he faced a level 69. With a bit of luck he beat the Brazilian user (he stopped playing).

Then he faced Madini clan hero Iwwo, who has won a lot of European cups and who is a level 83. Sipwell got a lucky break and was leading 2-0 at halftime. But Iwwo, talented as he is, came back to 2-2 and went on scoring 2 more goals. Sipwell, fierce as ever, did not reply to his teasing chat and fought back: 4-3, 4-4… Iwwo was panicking, put everything on attack and gave me the chance to score 5-4 (see image below).

Sipwell was in a state of ecstasy (iwwo had told him at the beginning he would eat him alive)… but he had to face dagriggstar, the strong BDKAS powerhouse player. Again sipwell took the lead… dagriggstar was hesitating, somehow scared of the overwhelming power which comes from the MARX BROTHERS name. But dagriggstar, equally talented as iwwo, managed to fight back and score a late 2-2 (86th minute). Triumphant as he was (he knew penalties were close), his defense was a bit shaky and gave sipwell the opportunity to make 3-2 and take the cup home. Although dagriggstar claimed he could not see the ball (and he was probably right in that, but I could not tell for sure when I was playing), he was honest enough to say sipwell was the correct winner. Dagriggstar should be praised for this moment of humility and should, in the opinion of sipwell, be added as official MARX BROTHERS buddy (see images below).

Sipwell read the sad news of chubby his departure from our clan while on holidays. It was the only time he started drinking alcohol before 10.00AM. It will feel unnatural to see him be a part of another clan. I told him it would feel like ‘Maradona playing for the Belgian squad’. Yet we must look ahead and we must look to all the new, young and losing users of our fabulous game. Le roi est mort! Vive le roi!

Both sipwell and airfix_9 have been promoted to MA-status. Both will remain extremely humble (although airfix_9 started to overpower people during his games: both his unearthly skills as his MA-status make people shiver and give away stupid goals) and a helping hand to all those in need (within powersoccer). Huuray for powersoccer!
