Tea time

Recently many people asked why all of a sudden a number of Amerikanski’s joined. It is true that there are more Americans in Marx Brothers now than there are other nationalities. We don’t really mind for nationality. For all I know we are all citizens of Powersoccerland and therefore have world citizenship. The reason why the number of Amerikanski’s in our clan grew is threefold. They were chosen – and I stress that word – because a) they are what we are looking for: dedicated, funny and above all honest men. It apparently was not a joke that BDKAS considered our blog to be ugly, judging on the number of magnificent changes there have been the last days. Look at the width now. Look at our logo on top. Look at the unique chat box we have! I suspect many more changes will come in the next couple of days and the next couple of weeks. They were chosen because b) they are very talented writers with a lot of wit and creativity. Other clan blogs don’t get further than “OMG, we won a new cup” whilst the Marx Brothers have developed a tradition of deep digging articles with content. Soccerduke27 his first words when he was appointed admin of this blog was: “You had 92 posts in three months. I didn’t know it was that much!” Well, it was and it will continue to grow day in, day out.

These two reasons are obvious and where already present in the introduction bigdaddyat and soccerduke27 got. There is however a third reason why they were picked. That reason is personal. Sipwell grew tired of those damn English with their tea bags. Each time Christine approaching Sipwell, you just have to wait until she starts again on “making tea”, “drinking tea” (see piece of evidence part 1 below) and doing other stuff with tea (for the ladies reading this blog: apparently it is good for as a mascara remover). Therefore some coffee drinkers were introduced to counterbalance. Only after Sipwell received piece of evidence (see the screenshot on your left), he was completely sure that bringing Bigdaddyat on board was a good choice (I guaranteed the snitch full anonymity). Tea is for people without taste. Coffee is for people with taste. Marx Brothers therefore has two factions: the tea drinkers versus the coffee drinkers. I hope most people will now finally understand the clear animosity between the two clan elderly Christine – from now on “Tea Bag Christie” – and Sipwell. It can all be brought back to an endless discussion on tea versus coffee. Despite her lack of taste, I still appreciate Tea Bag Christie a lot and hope we will stay clan buddies for a long, long time. Because, let’s face it: Get a life, join the Marx Brothers.
