Taking Things Personally

The following is meant in a philosophical, general way. Recent events in Power Soccer have sparked anger in many people, and perhaps understandably so. However, all turmoil could easily have been avoided by following a simple, guiding principle in life. Don't take things personally. Likelihood has it, your enemy has no true meaning behind what he is saying. And thus, I present a quote I've created, since all quotes must be said by somebody.

"When man throws a pebble at you, it's the dumb that act, for they will soon be stoned. When man throws a stone at you, it's the dumb that stand still, for they will soon be stoned."

The intention, that one must recognize what is worthy of being fretted over, before one blows things entirely out of proportion and ends up worse off than just waking away.
However, one must be careful, for it can be easy to mistake a pebble for a stone, and if you are unsure, chance dictates it's a pebble.

Pebbles:

Stones:

Few insults in life are really meant, few actions are rarely designed to hurt the victim. But if a man pulls a knife on you, don't stand there and let him slice you up. Run the hell away. If he throws a verbal insult at you, it's nothing. On the net, much tends to be the later.

Do not overreact, and the world goes on with less ston(e?)ings (however you spell that).

I have no hard feelings towards any of you.

Can we just 'kiss and make up'?

Be nice, and we may only "pebble" you. Keep annoying us, and you shall be stoned....
